There are also a large number of National Trust Properties and Gardens in Cornwall. Mevagissey has good transport links to the north coast and is well located for trips west to the Lizard, St Ives, Penzance and Lands End or east to Fowey, Bodmin Moor, Looe, Polperro and the Rame Peninsula.

There are a number of food outlets on the quay or close by, including fish and chips and of course pasty’s, plus several other takeaways in the village centre. Mevagissey has a number of food shops, including Martins bakery and Moore’s fruit, veg and deli shop in the village centre, and the excellent Lobbs Farmshop is not far away next to Heligan. The main supermarkets are located in St Austell, with a Co-op/Nisa at Pentewan.
